The rubber of my sneakers scuff the sidewalk in a constant cadence, keeping time and rythym with the other ants marching toward wherever it is we need to be, it’s 7am and I’m walking to school in the greatest city in the world. Good day new york, you are like a mother to me, loving, but always keen to teach me a lesson or 2. . Another day complete just like the day before and vastly different at the same time. Dylan used to say “A Song Is A Dream You try to make come true” Let this city be my song and tomorrow

Those words evoke very strong emotions inside my soul. Today I would like to pay homage to all the heroes who gave the ultimate Sacrifice in an effort to save complete strangers, for no other reason then ” This is what we do”. Today I will try to remember to be more selfless and to let go of what I refer to as “problems” or “difficulties” in my daily life. SO instead of never forget, I’d like to say we should “Always remember!” Always remember what it feels like to have warm sun on your face, always remember what it feels like to hear a child laugh, always remember your Mother’s kiss, always remember to never stop learning, always remember your dog will love you no matter what, always remember what it takes to be a friend, always remember you are mortal, always remember there is something out there that’s bigger than you, and most importantly always remember to fall in love everyday!
